I hate talking about he said she said stuff but a rep here at my call center said that after 11/22 that tep would replace the diamond for touch owners? Is this true?

he said he heard this from retentions after taking a sup call due to the customer wanting to trade up to the Diamond.

I've spoken with Asurion yesterday regarding a customer's claim who too had a HTC Touch before it went swimming in a pitch of beer and was told Aurion has enough replacements of HTC Touch to last through the end of the year.

I called in today due to troubles on my htc touch and they sent me to the insurance and once there the lady offered for me to pay 75 more and be upgraded to a new htc diamond. Hell all I ask was to be allowed to do a early upgrade but this is better. A new diamond and not contract extension.

Yeah. A diamond and no contract extension but since you got the diamond from asurion, you might get a refurbished diamond, most of the handsets they replace are refurbished ones.

Well not that I never been liad to before.
she claimed it would be a new one and not a refurbished one since its coming from the upgrade dept. I ask her again at the end and she swore it to be new. Now I will get this phone in on Tuesday and I will check to see if can tell if it new but for now I will take her work

no thats not true, they would be extending your contract and adding activation fees, as well as taking your old phone to used as esrp phones. so i would not do it. 👀

sprint daddy not saying you are wrong but I call back just ask for them to email me so I would have it in writing that I have not contract extension nor a activation fee. The emailed me back that no my contract has not been extended and there will be no activation fee. So I have it in writing if any problem does happen. I am through Alltel though I only posted this in the sprint section since it is the same insurance carrier

I was going to get my upgrade till Jan and that was only for 75off but i checked with sprint and they gave me the full rebate already! I really dont like the current line up so either way I am going to wait till we get a smartphone with a bigger screen or an Android phone.
