Touch Or Instinct ?
The touch, on the other hand seems to have more ESO (equipment smarter than operator) issues. Things like customers having 10+ programs running at the same time then getting upset that their battery is crap and the phone is slow. Well, OF COURSE that's going to happen. Learn to use the phone. That's the nice thing about the Instinct is that you can't possibly have that happen. When you switch from one app to another, it closes the other one automatically.
But if you need a phone for a calendar, and want to sync it with Outlook, then you can't use the Instinct.

It will require some customization but you will not regret it. I'll give a few examples of what I have my phone set up to do.
I can play youtube videos right from the actual youtube website or download them to my phone then send them to my computer (tcpmp)
visual voicemail- my system not only lets me see who called and play messages but also transcribes them for me to read in one easy app. (simulsays)
with spb phone suite I can have it set to accept only my list...

VERY good response to this question.
It really depends on what your needs are as these devices are 2 totally different beasts. The Instinct in a multimedia device where the Touch is an actual PPC.

By the way, if you have a touch, don't do the HTC update yet until they get the bugs out. Wait until sprint releases it at www.sprint.com/downloads
Threaded texting is a super plus and my GPS working is awesome. Have all my other 3rd parties up and running smoothly ... absolutely no complaints. ๐
