okay, i can defintely understand how you feel, there is something called a sprint advantage exchange, but you must have the TEP,or should i say INSURANCE,for this to actually work.

GO TO SPRINT.COM
CLICK ON FIND A STORE,AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER
MAKE SURE THE BUTTON ON PHONE/REPAIR CENTER BUTTON IS CLICKED ON

AND THEN TYPE THIS ACTUAL ADDRESS

4915 27TH PL
MERIDIAN,MS
39305
DISTANCE 15 MILES

Now after that it should say NO RESULTS FOUND, now click on

Prefer to resolve your phone repair needs from your home or office?
Click here to check your eligibility for our Self Service Phone Replacement Option.

SO AFTER THAT CLICK ON"CLICK HERE"

THEY ARE GOING TO ASK YOU TO PUT IN YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER,AND YOU WOULD ALSO NEED TO ...

Just for clarification, if the phone is "Damaged beyond repair" (meaning 3 or more pieces) or "Liquid damaged' then you WILL BE CHARGED the $55 deductible and it will be charged to your account. When you receive your insurance phone, you will also be sent a return kit which you have to return your old phone Sprint. If the old phone is not received, you will also be charged the $55.

Also, the address that you enter doesn't matter. You don't really need to use the one that is listed above. As long as there isn't a repair center inside of 15 miles, there will be the same options.

As far as not many reps knowing this information, you are correct in saying that. RCC (regular reps) don't usually know it, but LRCs (Lead reps) and higher shou...

For clarification, if the phone is DBR, the customer will be referred to make a claim through Asurion, NOT Sprint.
The customer will be charged a $50 deductible, and SOME accounts, not all, can charge the $50 deductible to their Sprint account. (ex.A2 can BTA if there's no past due, and the account has been est. for more the 60 days)
YES, the address does matter. The phone can not be sent to a P.O. Box.
As far as RC's, LRC's, ASM's, and SM's. Everyone should know this info, not just the higher up.
This is why Sprint is "bleeding customers". The wrong information is given to the customer. Please refer to your M&P's if you are a lead.
Please DO NOT think I'm trying to put you down, I'm trying to help you and Sprint's customers, with the c...

Also, just to clarify one other comment you stated. The customer will receive a pre paid envelope that will have a pre address to Asurion. If Asurion doesn't receive the device in the timely manner, the customer will be charged $200 to their account, regardless of credit class.

For people that may not know. It's actually called " ADVANCED EXCAHNGE " it is not taking thru your insurance. You don't have to have TEP, it is not ran just under TEP alone. You must have atleast ESRP or TEP. But this service runs thru the service and repair plan, not thru regular insurance. You do have the option now to perform this yourself, but keep in mind they do check these phones out when they recieve them and they will not cover any damaged phones. So, just dont think you can slide one over on them.. If you dont have TEP or ESRP this will cost you 55.00

Do you have a local Sprint office with techs? If so, have the techs have a look at the phone to see if there's something a tech can fix, or replace. If the phone is Damaged Beyond Repair (DBR), you're going to be referred to Asurion, to make a claim.
DBR is liquid damage, corrosion, and damage to the board.
If you have TEP, you're fully covered with ESRP (in store repair at no additional cost) and Asurion (Insurance with a $50 deductible). Sprint's and Asurion's WEL list may change daily.
If the m610 isn't available on the WEL list, the Moto Razr2, is usually the replacement.

This isnt directed to you, but I find it interesting when reps provide "workaround" solutions to customers to avoid having to pay for something they are supposed to pay for. Sprint loses money this way. Like when reps say "just call account services and threaten to cancel, and they will give you free vision,"

How unethical.
