Is Verizonwireless a cult?
Ok so let's put all the facts together.
In calling..
In texting..
Verizon restricts functions on phones...
Uses brew instead of java
Etc..
People say to me all the time that they cannot text or call that person because they are not "IN" Sounds a little like a cult to me.
In my opinion, if a person feels restricted to only talk to Verizon customers in fear of being heavily billed sounds cultish.
Next thing in the news I suspect Verizon to ask for tax exempt status.

I don't know about all that, but When the door to the tech area at the back of the VZW store next to me opened, i got a peek in side and saw a bunch of people in white robes with five candles and heard chanting in very low voices....
would that be a bad thing?
