i just wonder what they would call it? Sprint or T-Mobile? and if they would use GSM or CDMA?

they would almost have to keep both GSM and CMDA, kinda how sprint/nextel has cmda/iden. reason being, i dont think sprits towers would be able to support GSM signals, likewise t-mo (if they even have towers of their own, i dunno) towers wouldnt be able to handle cdma calls.

I don't like when post are put out saying rumors about Sprint it just confuses people and I don't believe there will be another technology buying Sprint it's just dumb. So if I see another post about T-Mobile buying out Sprint I'm going to smack someone. There have been previous post about this and they were ridiculed too.

The word youre searching your tiny brain for is "d-y-i-n-g", you mental midget. Ive seen you spell it wrong a half dozen times this week.
And Ill pre-empt your "grammar nazi" post by saying, If you want anyone to ever take anything you say or think seriously, maybe you should put some money into your own education on things like spelling, speaking, writing, and thinking clearly.

Retard.

Oh sure. The last place you'd expect to hear discussions of rumors is on a web blog.

If Sprint can barely handle maintaining two networks, I'd hate to imagine what a merged TMO/SPR would look like after holding up three networks in a couple years...

it would take very little to convert the towers to GSM. it's simply a matter of the radios. Also they could RENT those towers to other CDMA carriers and rape them for the usage. But as for the merger itself, i don't think its a good idea for T-Mobile.

DT would be facing many issues, though. Regulatory risk, financial risk, brand issues, Nextel side issues, technology risk, and market share loss. I mentioned the positives too and the link is; https://www.phonescoop.com/carriers/forum.php ?fm=m&ff=1&fi=1717591 .
