The commercial should have been:

"Hello. My name is Hesse and I'm the new CEO of Sprint. Translation: I am the least retarded person at corporate. Going over the books yesterday with accounting, it turns out that we have about three customers left. So we had a choice. Either charge each of those customers 127 million dollars a month to cover our expenses; or offer our services at fire sale prices to see if we could get some of our customers back who, only a few months ago, we couldn't care less for. After a great deal of debate, we decided on the latter. So if you are as broke as we are, can deal with pathetically poor English and support from customer service, and just an overall glutton for punishment, then the Sprint Everything Plan is...

At least they aren't on ROAMING all the time. (I'd insert a pathetically stupid smiley here like you do at the end of every comment, but unlike you, I don't crack myself up at the end of every comment I make)

The real bottom line is this. Sprint has the worst ongoing churn rate, the biggest financial losses, and the worst customer service of any carrier. Period. You can polish it however you like, but Sprint is a carrier primarily for low income, poor credit customers. Not everyone, but that is the majority of it's customer base. I've been around for a long time and Sprint made it's name by handing out service to anything and anyone who came in the door. That's why they never really gave a crap about their customers in the first place. Mo...

My point is that making money doesn't translate into quality products. Neither does topping CR or JD Powers, companies that consistently rank products made by the same companies under different branding with different scores.

Ha. I don't "deserve" it because I make good points. I travel 15 weeks a year or more. I'll tell you now that my AT&T works everywhere I've been and if it's anywhere that matters. Our company used to use Sprint but the coverage was horrible and the devices were constantly roaming. Also, Sprint is useless if you happen to travel overseas.

Whatever coverage is being boasted by Sprint now is, well, a day late and a dollar short... You can't regain trust by saying that you aren't going to treat customers like crap anymore and though in some discount service. Bottom line is this, whatever coverage map or survey you want to point to to prove Sprint's superiority, no one wants them anymore. Look at the churn rate. Numbers don't lie.

Maybe you don't, but many businesses DO rely on some of those services, like PTT. Ever try calling 20 people all at once with Verizon? Doesn't work to well. That's why, even with the problems Sprint has, they still stick with them, to the tune of over 90%.

People these days are willing to pay more money for "name brand" stuff, like Levis, whether it's actually better or not.

Ever bought a pair of Levis? They get holes in the back pockets REAL quick, and the belt loops break very easily. Wrangler jeans are probably as good, if not better, for about 1/2 the price.

But guess what, no teenager wants to wear Wrangler jeans because they're not "cool," so they are willing to pay the extra $$$ for a name brand that is less durable in the long run.

I don't spin webs, I try to bring points into a discussion that aren't being made by the other side...

Funny, I though Sprint was a name brand? That's like saying that people will buy Coke and Pepsi over Dr. Pepper because DP is not a name brand. You see Sprint as the generic?

What people are willing to pay for is great coverage, treatment, and selection. That's why VZW and AT&T, hell even TMO are stomping Sprint.

I don't think it has anything to do with your K-Mart bought blue jeans.

Sure they do. That's why Sprint's churn is the highest in the industry. Because people want less coverage. Funny but Sprint does a lot of talking about cheap prices these days, based on what you claim, they should be telling everyone that they have more native coverage than VZW or AT&T. They probably can't really make that claim though or they'd be doing it.

I keep hearing every carrier claim "largest network"...this is getting old. First AT&T, then Alltel, now Sprint. Somebody is lying in there somewhere. I'm a Verizon customer and even I hold up at&t on the largest network claim because of their coverage and customers (if they're not lying too). Alltel don't work in alot of places I used it when I was with them, and my fiance has Sprint and she roamed all the time. Roaming agreements don't mean jack to me. A carrier could have one tower in the nation and have roaming agreements everywhere else, I mean, that don't make your network bigger. If carriers were to eliminate roaming agreements, some of these "largest network" operators would fizzle out. I'm not putting any wireless carrier on ...
