Any changes will more than likely be just sofware/firmware upgrades to improve features such as bluetooth connections, automatic updates and such. Anything as far as hardcore performance changes, doubt it. It would take some hardware upgrades to accomplish such.

Yup! very possible. some software/firmware upgrades allow lower power consumptions throughout applications, resulting in longer life. Who knows, maybe they'll have something that kills running applications when closed, that way they're not just running in the backround, killin your juice.

i just checket up my mogul yesterday and new firmware is ready for WiMax. Also new interface looks pretty cool!

thats already been out. if you get the new Rev A update, you also have the option to delete the services your not running from the home screen. i changed the settings on my phone, so now if i use my calculator and want to exit, i can either exit and go to the home screen to exit out for good, or dod what i do, just hold down the X button to get rid of it for good.
and yes, the Mogul 2 and Touch 2 are coming out later this year. HTC is going to have a device launch of the Diamond. it looks kinda ugly, the Mogul 2 looks like a square Zun...
