10 Lines Need HELP!

searching-for-service

Feb 15, 2008, 2:11 PM
I have a customer who has 10 lines of service and wants to have 2 3000 minute family plans to split the 10 lines up. Problem is system does not recognize which phones go to which plan so all of the phones are sharing off of 1 3000 minute package. Customer care told me that cust would have to sign additional lines on individual plans for it to work. This cannot be the only sprint customer that needs 10 lines. Is there something I am missing or is there no way we can help this customer and allow him to have 2 family plans. Also billing system is Ensemble.

I originally set him up with 5 lines on a 3000 min plan and 5 lines on a 2100 min plan. even though he wanted 2 3000 min plans because i figured this would happen. Anyways he called cust care a few days after activating and had asked if he could switch all phones to 3000 min and they said yes so he went ahead and switched it. so i never got the chance to find out if my original idea would have worked. And hence about 300 dollars in overages. sprint is what he has.

The only way to have more than 5 phones share is through a business essentials plan (at least in current plans).
i would put two of the phones on the 3000 minute plan for 149.99, that would leave 8 phones as the add-on for $25 each. Totaling $500.00 a month
It is going to cost a little more than a powerpack, but it is the only current way to share 10 phones

correct me if im wrong but from what i read, the customer wants 2 separate plans with 5 lines each..... and the power pack 3000 would be great bc 2nd lines will be free. and that biz essential plan is great as well its saved several of my accounts ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

the powerpack plans would be nice, but it is not possible to have 2 powerpack plans on 1 account.
while it is possible to set it up that way, the computers will not recognize the second plan and will not pool minutes. Any phone over the 5th will automatically be charged the 25c a minute overage, even if there is a second powerpack primary on the account.

I appreciate all the input, but i cannot believe that we would have to set up a buisness account for this to happen. It would be a considerable price increase to do that. Would it be possible to have another account in his name?

Not within policy. It's a big red flag to try to do that...

Just have him come in with his wife/dad/mom/sister/brother and transfer half the lines to the other person.

Tried that. Not approved for enough lines. If this account was in P2k it would be possible but since we have been blessed with Ensemble it will not. What gives? Makes absolutely no sense to me.

you can't open a new account and transfer 5 lines to the new account??? and this is what you can do.... you add 5 lines to a biz 3000 for 149.99 for the main line and 25 for each add- on making the 1st plan 249.99 and the 2nd pland you can put the power pack 3000 for the other 5 lines making the lines 209.99, the best thing to do is open a new account and transfer 5 lines.....

after reading all this crap, no wonder customers get so frustrated. If you havnt gotten it figured out your best bet is to call sales support and sort it out with us, although yeah it seems about the only option would be either one power pack on 3000 the other on 2100 or the bus essentials. good luck with it though
