Sprint samsung m510 problems.

has anyone else had problems with this phone turning off and back on again for no reason, its got a full charge but sometimes when i go to use say yahoo messenger it doesnt want to log in so i try to exit the application and try again but it just resets the phone. or i could be talkin on the phone and the phone will turn off and back on by itself, its annoying as all get out, i dunno if its manuf. defect or what, but i live a good hour away from the nearest repair center, so if you have any info about what could be goin on please let me know. thanks 😁

Sounds like a firmware issue which means guess what? It is an hour road trip for you to the closest Sprint service and repair center! 🤣 You could also put yourself out of a phone for up to three weeks and send it to Samsung provided your M510 is still under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty.

You could always call cust care and have them transfer you to tech support to see if there's possible a new software update for the phone. Maybe they have some suggestions, I haven't heard anything like that being a known issue with that phone so I'm not quite sure what the problem would be.

You could also try going into the settings menu and go to where it says Update phone S/W and see if you can do a software update right from the phone to see if that helps.

I'm just trying to save you a trip to the repair center, trying to give you some options that you could possibly do at home.

Hope it goes well, and I wouldn't pay much attn to that Bufford guy. 🙂

ty yeah i've tried to update the software it didn't quite work, i know a little bit about troubleshooting but not too much, i mostly just deal with plans and upgrades and such, but thanks for tryin anyway 😁

well ill figure something out i guess
