I am currently about to purchase a Treo 755p or a HTC Touch. I was trying to figure out if the MMS issue is just for Windows Mobile devices or would that also include Palm and Blackberry devices as well? Thanks in advance 🙂

Currently it's only on Windows Mobile 5 phones, Treo phones have a nice text message format that makes it look like IM as oppose to a box for sent and a box for reieved.

you can use mms on either one. I have the touch and I have a 755... they can both do it. If you get the touch you will have to install a file that enables the mms. the treo comes enabled.

Although both are great devices, I still wouldn't get either one! Instead, wait for the new treo 800 coming within the next 2 or 3 months. Check out this link: http://www.wmexperts.com/articles/wm..._gates _ke.html

Good luck!

Okay, I just heard that Sprint has disabled all MMS functionality on Windows Mobile devices. Has anyone who uses a WM device with the ppcgeeks hack experienced this issue? This is really going to effect my decision on what device I purchase and probably my carrier. Thanks in advance.
