Shipping problems with new phone. Please help!

Hello!

My GF signed up for a new account last week and they still haven't shipped her phone. They keep telling her it will ship any day now yet she's got this excuse for several days now. She was told after placing the order to check back in a few hours for the tracking info and still nothing.
Is Sprint having shipping problems??

Thanks!

All she has to do is come by one of our retail stores and activate there and if by some chance the phone she ordered via the web and/or telesales does arrive, she can just return it at the nearest store.

Well she signed up for SERO and is still waiting for her phone and she keeps getting the run around about why her phone hasn't shipped yet. She was just told it was in the warehouse and should ship any day and should recieve it in 3-5 days depending on shipping method she selected.

I had mine in 2 days back in September.

Was the 4000 people they laid off the shipping department??

you are dumb NooB1Kenobi.....They havent even started the layoff... its supposed to be done by the end of quarter 1. Why dont you just go to a store and get signed up on a consumer plan with an NVP discount? you will get your phone right away.

BTW, since we are in the process of terminating approximately 1700 to 2000 Sprint employees in our Sales & Distribution channel, I imagine a few of our telesales and web people have already been let go. By the end of first quarter, we will have closed an estimated 125 under achieving retail stores.

Was the phone free? did she pay a balance by credit card, or was it billed to the account. I usually get my phones in 2 days they come from your local reps inthe area. If it was billed what may have happened is that it got denied and they expect payment.

I hope you get your phone soon, this is why I never order online. I prefer to go to my local Sprint store!

Ok here's the thing.......

She ordered the phone through SERO a week ago.
She has received no shipping info and every time she calls they give her the run around that it will ship soon. Last night she was told it was in the warehouse and should ship soon and she should have it in 3-5 days depending on the shipping method she selected.

I had mine in 2 days and didn't have this problem.
It makes no sense to me.

Well here's an update to what is going on... After she got the run around she got someone that had some common sense and seen that the order was never finalized. So they cancelled the order and processed another order and it went through. Well some how they managed to push the other order out and shipped her 2 phones (both arrived on same day which was today)well when she called sprint they explained the cancelled order got pushed. They tried to activate the one phone and the ESN was a fraud and the other one was in use. She is on hold now while they release the ESN with some program.
This is the MOGUL (don't ask she picked it not me). So that's what's going on now. Fun huh?
