Any strategies on gettin a Mogul `a la retention?
Ok heres the basic facts of the situation-
I am on a sprint family plan
Its my Uncle's account (same account for 7yrs)
There are 9 lines on the account
the bill averages 430-450 a month after tax
I am unsure of my LTV/ or $ (dollar signs)
My line is a secondary line which currently has unlimited text pak, no power vision pak because my current phone blows,
My contract is up in a year
Any thoughts or Suggestions? I hate to do this but i have a crappy Sanyo 8400 which is on its way out after less than a year. What would you guys do?

Get your own damn account first off. choose a phone that you will not hate in less than a year. phones change frequently. if you dont like it be prepared to pay full price for a phone that you want if your not eligible for rebates. Sprint owes you nothing!

$450/month divided by 9 lines... That works out to be $50 per line, which is average.
It's not reasonable to give the average person a "free" Mogul one year after having their prior phone. If your contract was up, you'd be eligible for the standard renewal discounts.
Besides, it's not like the competition is going to give you a free phone comparable to the Mogul...

I have a perfect solution that doesn't even involve going through "retentions"! Since it sounds like you have had your Sanyo 8400 for a year all you have to do is go to your local Sprint store and there will be $75 discount off the $550 price! Though keep in mind you will need to renew your contract and pay a $18 upgrade fee so your really only saving $57 off the phone and you won't qualify for the additional $100 mail in rebate. Of course if you can show a little bit of patience and just wait for your contract to expire like every other customer in the entire wireless industry than you will be qualified for the full discounts! What a deal!
