READ before you sign with Sprint

Sprint's reps are trained in the art of deception and trickery. I was just approved for 1 more line bringing me to a total of 4 lines with NO monthly fee of 9.99 per line. I also told them I wanted a free phone that was not free and they said yes. On top of my company discount I receive a 15% loyalty discount. My dad has 5 lines and is charged for 3 of them. I told him to ask if they could give him a free line or two and they told him no we are not giving you anything nor discounting your service any further. They told him to cancel his account if he wants to. Sprint picks and chooses who they want to benefit and who they don't, they are NOT consistant with their policies at all. Beware!

The first sentence you typed discredits everything you say afterwards. I'll admit I stopped at your first period (pun intended).

I was thinking the same thing. How many lines you are approved for is strictly based on your credit. Also his father only having to pay 9.99 for 3 of the add'l lines may have been a promo anyway. The phone he said that isn't free probably is...its free after mail-in rebate.

So, you are upset because he is getting five lines for the price of three and he can't get another added to that?

Two things-
1. shared plans are meant for five lines max.
2. how is five for the price of three not already good enough?

Yes, tell him to cancel. Go somewhere else and be ungrateful while paying $20- 50 more per month.

I for one wouldn't. I would ask myself what factors may be involved that led to the difference. I would also shop the other carriers and see what's the best deal they provide. Then I would call or email customer service and politely explain the situation and *ask* that they be able to offer some consideration.

Then, I would go with what had the best service/features for the price.

It's a rational process. This is what I did when I was a customer, having bee...

Exactly you should never buy on impulse. It always pays to shop around and look into all aspects before you purchase something. And then make your decision based on facts and findings not on glitz and glam. If somebody got a better deal then they knew something I didn't and I would go home and do more research to find out the why, where, who and how that I missed so I can see if I can get that deal as well. I don't whine and blame somebody else for my mistakes.

To that point, different people have different credit scores. Perhaps this jck character should have gone to freecreditreport.com, then maybe he could have gotten good deals on phones.

Jck, I work for Sprint, and I'm yet to find the online (or in person) training course that covers trickery and deception. Do you have the i-learn # for that course? 🤣

Like others have said, be rational about things, some people get better deals than others. It happens. I also remember from reading other complaints from you that you claim to have gotten several new phones from retentions in the last few months. I haven't gotten those deals, so what gives? Stop being a whiny baby and act like a rational adult.

haha not even close that just means your credit sucks and your dad's doesn't. This is the same scenerio we have both had Sprint for over 5yrs and he actually has more to offer them by having a larger monthly bill and more lines. I simply said I have 4 lines total and pay nothing...he has 5 lines and pays for 3, we all know the first two lines are free no matter what. If a company is not consistant then it proves that they are unfair. This isnt a matter of credit or years of service.

That just means you're a crybaby about having to actually pay for services provided to you and he is not.

Moral of the story:

Hey dumb ass I have 4 lines NO monthly fees, 500 text free on all lines, a 25% dicount thorugh work and a 15% loyalty discount, 1400 and night starting at 6pm free so who is the bitch now. My plan is 89.99 and after discounts comes to about 69.99 who's your daddy now

Dec 19, 2007, 1:18 AM
and your point is? Are you saying that is good? 69.99 with 40% discount? It doesn't add up. I am not that good in math but your monthly bill would be 100 without the 40%. So lets break this down for people like me:

1400 min for 4 line = 109.97
Unlimited text for all lines = 20.00
40% discount brings it to $78.00 a month.

Hmm If I was you I would start bitching and loudly since you were complaining about not being fare for everyone and you have this great deal when if fact you are getting shafted!

Just a question or 2. You say you have 4 lines w/ NO monthly fees? Then what is the 89.99? Also, you get 500 text free on all lines but in another post it's unlimited? Since I called you out on this are you going to change it again? "10,000 anytime w/ unlimited N/W @ 5pm and double unlimited text and free high speed internet and a company car. All for 12.99/month."

that's gonna be tough to beat.
