Is anyone thinking about leaving sprint?
I like sprint, but they have no phone selection. other companies are adding phones every week. But they give reasonable plans. wouldn't go to verizon, but Att a possiblity. Anyone thinking of leaving or have left? what is your experience

I had Sprint for 5.5 years. I left them in Feb. of this year and went to AT&T. I love AT&T. I get signal everywhere. Their customer service is a little better than Sprint (might be just the Corporate Store in my town with mean as hell people; the kiosk in the mall and the store in another town have excellent customer service). The two things that Sprint has that no one else has is (1) the SERO plans and (2) night and weekends at 7pm and you don't have to pay extra to get them at 7 and the % buck 6pm night and weekends. The SERO plan is the main thing that makes me want to come back to Sprint but I love my new rollover minutes that I have now 😁 Another thing is that Sprint has insurance on all of their phones which I also love. That is one of the reason I have stayed so far. They have nice cheap plans. Hmm..since Feb, I think sprint has come out with about 6 phones, thats including the ones comong out next week. I could be wrong. Sprint needs to be more aggresive in their phone offerings. many people are moving over to smart phones, and we have a small selection in that department compared to att and even verizon.

ok....the ones that just came out in the last four months huh?...thats exactly my point. verizon had the bb8830..then sprint got it!...i guess what i really meant to say is we dont have more modern phones that the other carriers are getting, (venus, voyager, iphone, slider phones etc)....i do have the centro, and i think its a good phone/pda. i think 2008-2009, sprint will have much better offerings.

I suggest you spend some time looking into how phone releases work. Newer doesnt mean better, and if you dont use your phone to try to make up for insecurities you wont care about who has a phone first, whose phone is the shiniest or whose has the bigger flux capacitor.
You should be looking for the carrier that works best for you and getting the phone on that carrier that best suits ...

Sprint's service says "roaming" in my house, where at&t actually has 4 bars. And yes, I've tried different handsets.

I had okay serviece in my house with sprint but with at&t i have excellent service. I am not sure if it is the same now but when I had sprint I was not able to recieve calls while I was on the web whereas with at&t I can and I love that. No more hearing people say I called you and it went straight to vm 😁 or seeing the VM icon pop on my phone after I get off the web 😁 If at&t was to offer something like SERO and hopefully insurance on the new Blackjack II or any of their smartphones for that fact, I would be one the happiest persons on Earth 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

I just signed up with Sprint and am still in my 30 day trial period. I like their network. I can call anywhere in my house, at work, or on my route.
CDMA has been very good to me. I was with Verizon 5 years previously, but I got tired of their stinginess. I get a better discount with Sprint.
Yes Sprint's Customer Service is lacking somewhat, but the people at the Sprint Stores are much better. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have signed up with Sprint. I think that I would do better asking a mime for directions than getting help from a Sprint Call Center.

I was a sprint customer for 5 years. There customer service was terrible. There phones were great. Their price plans were relatively cheap. But you get what you pay for. If sprint didn't have those price plans they would bleed all of their customers away. They had spotty coverage where I live also.

I have 5 lines with sprint and i've been with them for about 2 yrs and no i am not thinking about leaving them. The only things that bothers me is that we dont have EVDO here in my area but the coverage is excellent in and outdoors.And as far as plans and prices on tmobile has better deals but I am too use to 3g services i cant to go back to Tmo. as far as phones, yeah its not at&t. But i like my phones their unique i got the Mogul,Centro,Muziq,Upstage and a regular Samsung 300. 😎 oh and yeah customer service sux but i dont call them much, so its all good.

i luved it.i actually got it for my gf but i got to use it for about a week and really enjoyed the phone. its smaller than by mogul and a lot more easy on the eyes. the keyboard is small but easy to type on. but the best thing about it is that its very fast for a smartphone. 🙂

actually the battery life was o.k.. u do have to charge it everyday though. i was usually left with a 20 percent battery life at the end of the day. some ppl dont like that but i didnt really find it an incovience.

I agree that Sprint should sell more mid to high end non-pda/smartphone handsets. Im ready for a change though. I have always had flip phones and I want something different this time. The Motrola Q9c or Q2 is a really nice looking phone. I read that this phone will go on sale tomorrow. I will have to check it out. I will be switching to Sprint early December. I was going to go with TMO but you can't beat that SERO plan. My "friend" said he wants TMO. We won't have mobile2mobile. 🙄

Cheaping out? Whatever fanboy. TMO may have good customer service and MyFavs but the data service sux because they are not 3g yet. Sprint has the best data service and I want a EVDO capable phone. I've had Sprint service before and the only reason I left is because when hurricane Rita hit that damaged a lot of the towers in my area and that caused a lot of dropped calls and very slow internet/browser. There was also a billing issue that got cleared up after a few months. Other than that I was pretty happy with Sprint. I have had all 4 major carriers and I like personally like Sprint. Yeah they are having there issues now but they are doing a lot to improve the service for their customers.

I used to work for sprint, now i work for another carrier, but i have both sprint and my company phone now which is GSM. customer service is a little better than sprints. i love the EVDO and some coverage. My GSM best coverage ever! no problems. with my GSM i have coverage everywhere i go, and some 3G areas, but mainly coverage. sprint, love there power vision, and highway coverage. i love both carriers so i carry both. but i just wished sprint can work on there customer service. but if i had to choose one...i wouldnt stay with sprint thats for sure if there CS is where its at now...oh yeah get new phones too! lol
