๐คฃ ...I guess I will just have to settle with a phone I don't want just so I can have an extended battery. I think Sanyo is the only phone that has an extended battery. Thanks alot Sprint. ๐

Come on now. Sprint is a SERVICE provider, not a manufacture. I'd recommend going through the manufacture for the accessories you need. If ANYONE made the accessory, it's the good ol' people that made the phone. ๐
...
Thank you!!! As a warranty csr for at&t, I hate when people are like, "It's the phone that YOU made!! "
...
I never said that Sprint made the phones. They can however get extended batteries from that manufacturer of the phone and sell through Sprint. They did it with Sanyo. Why not with the others??? ๐คจ

what kind of Extended battery are you looking for? for what phone?

LG Muziq and Samsung M510

Do a Google search for extended battery for LG LX570 and Samsung m510. I found several sites.
Sprint has a close relationship with Sanyo. It's also Sprint's buyer to blame for accessory purchases. Go to the direct source, which is the manufacture.
...
I went to the LG website and they don't offer an extended battery for the Muziq. Let me ask you this Yean, If I were to purchase an extended battery that is not Lg branded and it happens to leak and ruin my phone would it be replaced under warranty? ๐

First of all, it is very unlikely that you'd be able to fit a battery that was not made for your phone in it.
Second, if you somehow do, and you damage your phone, don't go to a Sprint service center, you'd be wasting your and their time. Just call signal insurance at 1-888-352-9182 and file your claim with them as damage beyond repair and pay your $50 deductible if you carry TEP or DP (ERP).
If you do find a extended battery, make sure they send the back door too. I don't know if LG and Samsung design extended batteries for their slim line series. But Motorola, Sanyo, Audiovox, HTC, RIM and Palm carry extended life batteries for most their phones.
I just have extra batteries and a car charger for my fusic in case I run out of juic...

I think she meant a battery for the phone model, just not by that manufacturer. It is an interesting question though.

MissSLM07 if you are still in need of the LG LX570 Muziq extended battery and extended backdoor, PM me with your Sprint number and info, and I'll ship one out to you.
...
How did you find an extended battery andd battery cover? Last I checked LG didn't have one for it? Is it after market or something?
I would so love one.
...
The ic Moto's have extended batteries.
...
Like every IDEN phone has one too
...
Actually, when I went to the Sprint Store on Friday, I saw extended batteries for many brands. Did you go to a corporate store?
...
Switch to Verizon Wireless where we don't screw customers!
...
LOL! I honestly don't care for Verizon. I just think that Sprint needs to get extended batteries from ALL the manufacturers of all the phones that they carry and sell through Sprint.
...
some phones it doesn't make sense to make one like the razr it defeats it being slim! Buy a travel charger and car charger and you should be ok. Honestly how much time do you stay away from power?

And how difficult is it to plug in a phone anyway? If that's the biggest inconvenience you must suffer with your phone, I'd say life is pretty good then.
...
And it won't matter how many new phones Sprint, or anyone else offers, they still won't have any "cool" phones! ๐
...
or a great network? ๐
...
Yeah, don't you know the best network is the one they will be going to next?
...
I don't care if the extended battery sticks out in the back. I just want a battery that provides more power so I won't have to keep it on the charger all the time.
...
but most do not that would defeat the purpose of a slim phone!

Huh?! Come on now. Your VZW propaganda is nonsense. Not every carrier is PERFECT. Every carrier has it's fair share of issues and problems. Don't believe me, do a Google search on what ever carrier name, followed with sucks ( ex. carrier name sucks ) and you'll find website and bloggers dedicated to the anti-wireless carrier.
