Any predictions on what Sprints numbers are going to look like? Good or bad?
Thanks

Good but not great is my prediction.

I agree

Honestly, I am thinking they are still on the decline. Calling into care is taking too long to keep a strong customer base and with the mass confusion that is UBP it is gonna get far worse before it gets better.
Personally, I think they are doing this on puropse so that it will be an easier sale. If you remember correctly, at&t wireless did the same thing prior to the cingular wireless buyout.
In my honest opinion, Sprint will be sold by 2009 (Even then I am exagerrating, I personally think it will be sooner). I know Comcast is highly interested in our product and the current joint venture is only just the beginning. Once WiMax is launched, then you will see a lot more interest. Plus "Comcast Mobile Broadband™" has a great ring to...

I use to think the same, but mobile_trojan made me realize something. Sprint has alot of Fiber Ops, and is a Global Tier 1 Internet provider, that is a portion of the Internet Backbone.
Sprint's not going to sale any time soon. I see a new Sprint, and I'm glad to see Sprint finally making a change.
There's has been plenty of talk in WallStreet on Sprint. I've read several investors blogs and comments about Sprint's stock increasing.
I hope so.

I talked to Jimmy about that. Sprint's focus is steering AWAY from the mobile industry though.

Nope, Sprint's next move is WiMAX. WiMAX will offer SO much more services. Sprint seems to approach the data strategy.
...
Yup and that is why I think Comcast will buy out Sprint.
Take two products of the same quality, just one being mobile and the other being stationary. And offer them at the same price. Who would you choose? The one that is mobile of course.

Well with Clearwire and Sprint teaming up and along with other manufactures and companies, I don't see Comcast buying Sprint. Even though Comcast has very deep pockets I don't see it happening.

Only time will tell 😉

There's no debating that, time will tell. Cheers. 😉

Pivot is the initial foray into the cellular industry for Comcast. To start it will be a joint venture but once WiMax launches I see Comcast starting to become more interested. Both companies have ALOT of growth potential in terms of offering new and unique services, and they can only benefit if they join forces.

Agree, but I believe this will be and will remain a joint venture between the 2 corporations. Comcast has enough money to become an MVNO of Sprint and become very successful.
...
I see it as it can go both ways. They may want out of the wireless industry and focus on their global internet. however if they keep going the way they are then I see them selling as they can't fix their issues. If they fix their issues I see them keeping the company (SprintPCS) as they will become the leading wireless provider. They have so much potential! Just need to fix things before it is too late!

Agree. Sprint does have alot of potential. Their focus seems to be complete wireless. Data and voice.
