You can't stop a liar from lying. It says more about them than it does about Sprint. When I shop the various stores and kiosks competitively I find the T Mobile people have little knowledge about the industry or their own network. The amount of misinformation they sling is because of their training.
I have heard them say things like: you can't even text message on Sprint, Sprint vision costs double minutes to use, Sprint will soon dump CDMA and go with a "standard" GSM network, etc. etc. etc.
The sad thing is that they often have a VGA-1000 on their hip as a personal phone because their T-Mobile phone doesn't get reception at their house.
They are punks and their training department is filled with punks. Don't worry it will catch up to t...

The T-Mobile people get lonely. Everyone ignores them because of their lack of coverage. At least in the West where Sprint won the same award they are boasting about.

T-Mobile is T-errible. I'm guessing your bling bling is a Ford pinto, with some Levi's, a goodwill shirt, flip-flops, and some polished turd nuggets for jewelery.

Or maybe the bling was referring to all the bling that cell phone customers give up to pay for their service. In that case, every phone company should have the word "greedy" included in their slogan.

So what does that make your Sprint bling? A Yugo GV? T-Mobile actually does stuff to please their customers. Not to forget additionally that they have the largest customer base Worldwide (this is totally exclusive of the USA Customer base.)

Sprint's Quality of Reception along with their Customer Service (or lack their of) is ...

You're absolutely correct about the dropped calls issue, Sunil.

The new versions of Fair and Flexible are actually really neat. I hope other providers begin doing similar things.

As for customer service, BIG changes are happening. Sprint isn't tolerating being bottom of the heap anymore.

😁 Glad to read this! 😁

The customer service and coverage is why I left Sprint several years ago and have remained w/VZW for quite a while. VZW knows that we really don't have any viable alternatives if we insist on good customer service and I hate that.

After you fix the customer service thing, then work on coverage.

You offer roaming on the VZW network for voice but SPCS needs data roaming too. These days, I need data coverage as often as I need voice.

Back on topic --

T-mobile does have pretty good customer service. I have backup pre-paid T-Mobile service and t...

That's old news. AWS tried something simular to the Fair and flexable quite a while ago. 100 min was $8 so it's not quite as good as Sprints but still it never flew and AWS quickly got rid of it.

how is sprints coverage there biggest down fall? i mean they do have the best network in the us.

let us look at the facts they are a cdma network that is a huge advantage. let us compare GSM uses hard hand offs where as cdma uses soft hand offs. gsm is an older less secure network. cdma is the most advanced most incripted. cdma also has 10 times more call capacity. next let us look at POPs sprint has over 202,000! that is more then verizon and more then cingular and at&t combined. we will not even ention t-mob now what about hte actuall network size. sprint has one of the smallest native arias. hmmmmm..... the most POPs in the Smallest arian? wow that must mean the strongest signal.

now who out there can actually offer proof that they ...

dropped calls and bad reception? you make it seam like sprint is the only carrier you get a dropped call with. now see what i get a kick out of is how companies out there the only way they can compeat is by spreading lies like "oh if you go with sprint you will drop all your calls and get bad reception it is a flat out lie. give me proof of how sprint has bad reception. all you can say is you drop calls and have bad signal but that is an oppinion.

oh and about security. GSM is secure but it can be cracked and quite easely. in fact gsm has been comercially avalible since the 1980s. cdma how ever has been around since WWII, it was and is what the Gov uses it was not released tot he public untill 1995 hear is the reality of cdma vs GSM GSM s...

Now, that was a good post, stevelvl. I have owned a Cingular GSM phone for my work and a Sprint phone for personal use for the past four years. Now if you are traveling across America, the Cingular GSM coverage is avaliable in many more rural areas than Sprint. But in areas where Sprint does have service, it puts GSM to shame, beacuse their service works the same EVERYWHERE. I also drop fewer calls on Sprint than Cingular GSM...espesially while travelling.

Now when it comes to the mEdia Works internet services of Cingular, and the PCS Vision internet of Sprint, there is one noticeable difference. Transmission speeds are about the same for me, but the usability and ease of navigation with Cingular's system is like trying to get a Stea...

WOW! Stevelvl is strugglin in the grammar dept.! Grab a dictionary man!!

Here in Central Florida, Sprint PCS makes up about 60-65% of the subscribers that port-out to us. For Central FL. being a hot market in the U.S., Sprint isnt setting the greatest example at all for the rest of the U.S.

Please dont respond, Steve, unless u chekc yur spilleng. U sund liek a compleet jakcass.

First of all, as a T-Mobile customer service rep, though it doesnt mean much in a web forum, I want to apologize for the attacking and provoking comments made here towards sprint, it is not professional, nor good business ethics, especially coming from an employee. T-Mobile considers this slander, and is highly looked down upon. In a setting such as this though, people are free to exress their opinions, and some have stronger opinions than others. I think everyone is entitled to theirs, and should equally respect others'.
