I am in the market for a new phone. Have always been a fan of Sanyo's though that new palm seem's pretty solid. I hear that the KatanaII DLX is making it's way out soon. Does anyone know when?

The Katana DLX looks exactly like the Katana II but with a better screen on the inside. We got one in the store the other day and it is the 8400 in a Katana body. Im not a big fan in the way it opens, but it looks like a good phone. We shall see.

i think they should have not given the DLX the 8500 model number, it really is not an upgrade from the 8400, and they should have came up with another phone that looks like a phone, slim line phones are so overrated.

Retail price of $329.99 and is being advertised at $129.99 after a $50 mail in rebate. Thats the price for a new line of service OR if your an existing customer and you've had your phone on your line of service for at least 11 consecutive months you get $75 off the retail price of the phone (purchase price at $254.99) If you've had your phone on your line of service for at least 22 consecutive months, you're eligible to get $150 off the retail price ($179.99 the purchase price) plus the $50 mail in rebate. You HAVE to be eligible for the $150 off to get the mail in rebate. A bit about the phone; it comes a Power Vision phone, so it comes equiped with features such as Sprint...
