does this phone still have loose hinges when it is closed or have they corrected this problem? thanks!

it only does it when it is flipped down, it is solid when it is flipped open.

is this normal or a flaw in the phone....other phones don't have that play in them....would you recommend the M1?

it is normal, it prevents give in when it is flipped open. i would most definatly reccommend this phone.

Oh I will try I am only 2 hrs from Tokyo and last time I was there it was an awesome city. And yeah I can't wait to see their phones. I will let you all know if I get one and how it is!
