If there was anything that you could change about Sprint, what would it be and why.

I'd like to see keylogger software installed on every employee's PC so whenever the employee logged into their terminal for the day and/or either accessed Microsoft Internet Explorer for web browsing, opened up any of the Microsoft Office applications such as Word or Exchange Wor, a digital fingerprint so to speak of the employee's activities could be reviewed at the end of the employee's shift to see if any internal documents about upcoming products and services are being leaked to the internet or if the company's code of conduct was being breached in some manner so corrective action could be taken immediately and damage control measures accessed.
...
yeah but what did you expect.
Now with that said. If you log on using sprint network which I think it is if your in their store they can and do know exactly were you go. URL are loged in their server just like email is in their exchange server. So if someone was to do something wrong it will be picked up on!

We all know that certain person thinks that he may get a raise for whistleblowing, or that one day someone will come up to him and pat him on the back and say, "We would have gone belly up if you wouldn't have been such a pain in the bottom on PhoneScoop!"
Sorry. This last round from him has me laughing with some pretty nasty mental pics. (Complete with tape on the nosepiece of his glasses)

If you give a mouse a cookie, the mouse will then ask for a glass of milk...

Actually corporate security already has the key logging capability. Hope you haven't been using your terminal to log on here and criticize everyone for infringing corp policy.

I do my postings from the comfort of my home PC at lunch as well as before/after work. I know better than to use company resources for personal gains.
...
I log into phonescoop while at work 🙂
then again i keep my postings to opinions than facts.
Back on topic though, I would like to see all the employees treated the same, not treated differently because you work at a legacy nextel kiosk.
...
Or any legacy Nextel position for that matter. Seems to me that quite a few folks on the iDen side are the ones getting the cold shoulder.
I'd like to see the Data add-ons for additional lines go back to half pricing.
The search engine on S.N.C and iConnect are horrible if you ask me, so I would change that to find information for the customer a lot faster than having to dig through search results for 10 minutes trying to find the form I need.

We are all Sprint employees now, not legacy iDEN not legacy CDMA, just corporate employee who work for Sprint Nextel Inc. in their various channels. We all should strive to safeguard our proprietary information as this is what makes us unique and differentiates us from the other wireless carriers. Giving out buzz releases about forth coming products and services to create excitement is one thing, but to release lauch dates or specifics about the products and services thing is another. We have to remember people that certain last minute additions and/or deletions regarding a certain product and service can happen.

ugh.
Do you ever go deep into the woods to where you cant find your way out?

WhoDey, let's kidnap Ray and take him Snipe Hunting...

LMAO! I didn't know anybody still knew how to do that? I'm going to giggle for days about this!

Ray, the store you work at, was the store pre-merger sprint, or pre-merger nextel? IF it was pre-merger nextel, you will see that legacy sprint employees get treated better than legacy nextel employees.
During the store consolidation, they would close the legacy nextel store instead of the legacy sprint store. regardless of activation difference, CSAT and overall revenue.
My store (legacy nextel) was less than a 1/2 mile away from a legacy sprint store, my store produced more revenue, had more activations, supassed quota more and had a WAY higher CSAT average. Can you guess which store got closed down?

I started back in December '06 had been a pre-merger Nextel retail store. I'm so thankful I transferred to a pre-merger Sprint retail one. Personally, I prefer CDMA and really try to encourage and steer existing customers as well as potential iDEN ones to the PowerSource handsets. When I worked in the pre-merger Nextel retail store, my mix was 85% CDMA/10% Boost Mobile (didn't carry any Virgin Mobile) & 5% iDEN. No matter how you look at it, CDMA towers over iDEN in every way aside from the PTT. I shall be glad the day if/when iDEN is turned down permanently. As far as the 5,000 employees who were downsized, all I can say is I've been down that road myself at one time in a different industry. As it was said in the romantic comedy movie "You ...

I now work for EMBARQ in their corporate security department on auditing projects. I should give credit to raycarroll70 as he's the one who first paraphrased the "You Got Mail" phrase here at Phone Scoop. LOL!

Well said Gary. I don't think I could have said it any better. 😎

You're exposed, give it up.
You messed up your log in, and now everyone knows that you're cyberpsonit.

Ramon Carroll I dont understand how you have like 2 hour lunch breaks ? there are many times you have posted in more then just an hour during your scheduled working day. Why did you lie about something mundane ? Also why do you violate sprints policy by being on here while Renta Cop'in everyone else ?

I think it's safe to assume that most of the people that participate in this forum that work for Sprint enjoy their job. Therefore, they wouldn't have any reason to release internal or confidential information, nor would they use company resources for any personal gain that would compromise their employment.
Secondly, we wouldn't be so ignorant as to give our contact info out to someone that immediately asks for it before even chiming in on the topic. Nor would be so apt to disclose our contact info out to anyone now that you said you will "lay low".

he says that because he has been in trouble for doing it himself. I guess instead of just learning from it he needs to go so far to the other side now and preach not to do what he himself did!

Can you take a step back and realize that you sell cellphones and not predator drones. Who give a cr@p what details people give out ???

you post at home because you got in trouble for posting at work, not because you "know better than to use company resources for personal gains" 🙄

FIX THE DAMN REBATE SYSTEM
You freaking idiots, it was supposed to be fixed in september (i printed the playbook about it the other day), but still, to this day, if I put my old phone back on my line... WHOOPSIE, rebate reset.
UGH, you retards, how hard is it to change that programming!!
Also, stop the different discounts online vs. in store.
Or, if you keep the different handset pricing, give me an option in RMS for "Sprint.com price match" that DOESNT count against incremental discounting!!!
...
The literature explaining how the rebates work should also be changed to be clearer. Many customers come into my store after speaking with customer care or looking online and think they are getting the $150 off of the sale price.
