I have a sister who is in the National Guard and she will be in Maryland for awhile. I was wondering how is the service was there, cause I am planning on getting her a phone if it is good!

Alltel is not sold in this market so she will be in roaming. probably with verizon for voice and sprint for data. (p.s. i live about 20 min from aberdeen)

That is what I thought, I tried to find a store near there and couldnt find one! 🙂 Does it work and have you had any problems with getting charged with roaming or anything! Tnanks

They should be fine. Free roaming on Sprint and Verizon.

You may be able to describe the coverage for Sprint in that area though, as that is the preferred roamer now even for voice.
