yes they do, and i dont recommend buying online. if the phone is defective or you change your mind you have to ship it back and wait for another one. please go to the store to save yourself a headache.

They will charge a deposit after the credit check if needed.

Most online deals you save on the phone price. If the phone is defective and that does happen if you buy online or in a store.
They will ship another phone out with the label to ship the old one back.

After the first 30 days any warranties is done normally with Sprint.

Never buy on e-bay or sites like that... Unless you can get the ESN DEC that its an 11 digit number, just numbers,no letters, that starts with a 0 a 1 or a 2... and check it with customer care to see if it can get activated... But it´s true Sprnt will not be held responsable for the warranty... At the most you could contact the manufacturers for the 1yr warranty...

Obviously it depends on how much business that person does of course. Most sellers will not give you the ESN of the phone anyways b...

After 30 days the warranty is done through exchange by mail or a "Direct" Sprint store.

Anytime you apply for a postpaid service with any wireless carrier, there'll be a credit check down. The deposit, if any, will vary according to the credit scoring criteria of a particular wireless carrier.
