Most recently, Cingular has launched coverage maps on its Web site that show prospective customers what quality of signal they can expect, down to the street level. "We're very proud of our coverage, and we want to show it off," said Mike Bennett, Cingular's executive director of consumer and government affairs.

Good stuff is coming from Cingular nowadays...
Wish the a%&clowns would step and look at far the company has come in the last few years instead of constantly BMW about not getting free this or that...

I just came back to T-Mo after staying home for a year with my baby girl. In my training class was a girl who had just come from tech with Cingular. She expressed her frustration to me that her supervisor kept getting on her case for trying to build up relationships with customers. "Don't worry about being nice. You're in tech support, not customer care. Just get their problem fixed and get them off the phone." She was amazed by T-Mo, where right now Courtesy and Concern are the main drivers. Building relationships, showing empathy, are all things being focused on, even in tech, along with Knowledge and Timely Resolution. I remember when I first applied for tech, while in CC.
