General Wireless Question...
Hey guys... Just wondering if anyone knew of a website that illustrates a fair result of best phone coverage, data coverage etc... for all the carriers. Thanks for any info.

I think there are too many variables to create something that accurate and unbiased on a national scale. I think the carrier that does the best job with their coverage map would be t-mobile.

I agree with that but what I meant as what customers rated as best cell coverage and also fastest data coverage. Do they have an annual award thing or something like that.

you'd have to google for independent tests like the pcworld test for data nationwide or satisfaction surveys like JD power.....but regionally it could be different. Sometimes national averages don't hold true in your area.

iBlipped is an application that is installed voluntarily on BlackBerry handsets and sets a timer of some sort to record the signal strength and GPS location on the handset. Users are then permitted to upload their signal strength data to the iBlipped website and it gets recorded on a Google Maps overlay.
Unfortunately, the site is pretty difficult to use because the VerizonATTT-MobileSprintTelusVodafoneAlltelOt her is all run together at the top, but if you click the "ATT" area it will show results for AT&T blackberry users. Vodafone, Sprint, etc all work the same way.
My biggest dis-satisfaction with this site right now is that it only allows data upload from BlackBerry handsets, which limits the usefulness of the data slightly.
