Dropped Calls Gallore !!!

I know 3 account holders who one has 3 services on an ATT shared plan (GSM), the second 2 on Cingular family plan (less than 30 days migrated) and lastly one person on an ATT plan (GSM).

All these accounts' holders don't known each other or associated in any way other than they know I work for Cingular.

The first account holder with 3 services began complaining of dropped calls for at least 4 weeks by now. They (all 3) claim that during a call unexpectedly goes dead air but looking at the phone counter and online view minutes the system claims more minutes of duration. For example a call that goes dead air within the first minute, the phone will appear continuation of such connection for at least another 2 minutes (which of course is i...

Im not sure what to say on this. All we are told in instances like this is "Create a Case" which I never do know if anything ever gets solved from that...I hate it.

Se for the blue calls we have been taking, because not only in California, but coast to coast customers have been calling in saying the same thing, and when it first started happening, we were sent out info and this is literally what we were told

"Just prior to the merger of these two great companies ATTWS roaming service agreement had elapsed between attws and the other wireless carriers.As a result the customers will gradually be phased out of the other carriers network system program by end of quarter 04' ".

I was an ATTWS rep and never got that info. But thank you its good to know.

Trust i'm glad i know, i think we got cuz they told us since we are the largest center over 1600 reps, and we'll the last converted.so they figured might as well know all thats going on!

Yeah we were the first ATT Center that got completely converted to Cing.

Yeah,since its easier to convert smaller ones, then they will do ours last since it'll take a while with ours

Yup. Ours was done in 3 months. But they also did 2 classes a day. One in the evening and one in the morning. So that helped a lot too.

See when we being converted from tdma to gsm, took almost 2 years to get converted completely for everyone

Yeah. We dont really have that many part time or students here. Most of us just work here or maybe have 2 jobs. But the majority are full time.

yeah, i'm full time too,

but yeah, we were told sometime during first quarter of 2006, till then all blue calls all the tie.
