Question about Blackberry data plans.

ATnT Nokia

Jun 26, 2009, 11:01 AM
Hi there. I recently bought a blackberry and I am past the 30 day mark, so I can't return it. I have had major call issues with the phone and I am looking to sell it on Ebay.

My question is, will AT&T let me get rid of the data plan since I am going back to my Nokia phone? Should I call them and give them the IMEI number off the phone I am switching to? Or am I stuck paying for a blackberry data plan I will no longer be using?

Thanks.

No sir, you have it right.

Call CS with your Nokia IMEI and they will remove the BB package.

The phone still has warranty and can be swapped via warranty exchange. Their number is 800.801.1101. I wouldnt see the defextive phone on ebay.

I loved my BB experience, but not for what I am paying. the phone's software is too buggy, and I've tried different BB models.

I will call customer care today, thank you for your help, Will! I hope y...

Well, I did it. I called CS and got the IMEI number changed, and they got rid of the Blackberry Personal data package and I listed my BB on Ebay. Phew. Glad this nightmare is over!
