Cingular 850 vs 1900

Hello,
Does anyone have an idea where Cingulars 800/850 coverage is in compareson to 1900, Is one predominate in the north east, or are they both mixed....I really need to know this

I believe 1900 is in NC and SC....don't know of other places, though.

in the north east, the New York City area, and parts of New Jersey are 1900, most everything else is 850.

Do this, take your phone and set it to manual search. (will only work w/ ATTWS phones, Cingular has it disabled) If you search and T-mobile is available you can use the 1900 mhz band. They have roaming agreements.

Georgia and some of SC use 800 with a few 1900 towers spinkled about

1900 is in CA, NC, SC, GA, and in NYC. I know for a fact that the PHILLY area, & Central PA are 850 though.
