Why does everyone trans to cc

k, is it just me or does every department trans to cust care, if its not orange care cold transfering a cust about a bill that is on their side, or wex trying to give us their esc(btw u people have a res desk or so i'm told, cc cannot find phones thaty the cust has sent into u), or res cold trans to us to explain to a cust that the reason y their bill is so high is there r 3 resinstatment fees which we aren't susposed to credit for, and don't get me started on sst, i mean u can't even believe a word they say(they told a friend of mine that they had the cust take the sim out of the phone and when she sub inactive them the call dropped), and even worse is nas, omf i spent an hour trying to get them to take an ogo activation only to have the 6t...

Why me, today...

Why is it, this morning, I am getting all the ****** customers.

Woman calls in, have to repeat things 4-5 times to her, and can not grasp anything. She asked "how much is voicemail and how do I get it?", I said Voicemail is free, and if you want it I will just add it to your account." "What do you mean you will just add it to my account" she says. Advised her I just setup the voicemail on her account to activate it. She says "Then how much is it", adv it was free again. I say "I don't understand, what do you mean it's free". "Voicemail is FREE, does not cost you anything, 0 dollars, we will not charge you." She says "But if you add it to my account then its NOT free"... SHEESH!

Bye bye AT&T, hello Cingular

Finally am so disgusted with the Treo 600 and all its problems (and I have two friends and many acquaintances who have all been just as annoyed and got rid of that hunk of junk)...that I am giving up my great AT&T plan and doing the migration to a Cingular plan. Got the Nokia 6230 today.

Yeah, I know I could have gotten it unlocked probably and used it on the ATT plan.. but I'd rather just move on and give "rollover" a try.

Bye bye AT&T.. I actually will (and have) miss(ed) you.

And if you must have a PDA phone, pop for the Treo 650. My boss got one and it solves all the problems of the 600.

their are so amny things i hate about this job but the biggest is not being able to release or pass off calls under any circumstances i just had to get my sup to release a call because of some prank calling kids that would not hang up also what about women who get those creeps who ask what their wearing or make other (much worse) sexual comments you should be able to hang up on them they don't know if you hung up on the cust unless their monitoring you and if their monitoring you they heard why you hung up.

Amazing customer...

Customer calls in, blaming merger for going over minutes, I advised of Cingular, he accept a plan $20.00 higher and a phone for $49.99 with the $18.00 AND he paid his $200.00 BILL!!! The customer blew my mind, he was so accepting I gave him a credit of $20.00 for not complaining.

There customers, ME, a rep out there that will credit you for NOT complaining and even when you don't ask for a credit too!!!

He was surprized when I gave him the credit too.

I didn't get the call, but a few months ago a lady sitting right behind me got a call from a customer, and she said "my phone says home on it, but I'm at work" 🤣

Getting Wrong Number Calls

I signed up for ATT go phone. And i have been getting alot of wrong number calls.

Anyone else have this problem?

Did ATT give me a used/old phone number because i am a post paid customer?

Also, i am thinking of signing a contract plan, does any other carriers give out old phone numbers to new customers?

ignore me, just ranting a little again.

I know we haven't had many hot topics in blue lately, but it seems like nobody ever reads them. like a couple weeks ago, there was one that outright stated that care reps better not be performing "insurance replacements," for reasons that should be rather obvious.
now, that should have been common knowledge, but it still hasn't filtered down. I'm just annoyed about it now because earlier tonight, there was a guy who was ticked off because he had insurance on one of his lines and not the others, so some care rep took it upon herself to send an "insurance replacement" for a line that didn't have insurance. what's even more retarded about it is that it wasn't even an insurance issue (ie damage/lost/s...

Why do I get these stupid calls... Guy calls in, can't view his minutes because he just re-registered with the upgraded OCS. He is at a loss because he has no idea how many minutes are left.

He wanted TL or any techy to get this information for him, I advised him that we cannot do this.

I gave him 60 curtesy airtime minutes to help out and thats all the customer is going to use the phone for.

I advised him that other customers survive without it so can he. Oh thats their problem he responds with. Well guess what it's now your problem too.

To the RM rep who thought they could cold transfer a customer to the wrong department, YEAH I got some feedback coming your way.

Next time make sure you warm transfer to the correct department. You do not mess with me, I get feedback on your ass if you tick me off.

Cingular rep needs an attitude adjustment...

Yeah so I get a call from a Cingular rep, cuts me off, can't verify the account even though the customers info is right infront of him, force transfers the customer over to me.

I then correctly transfer her over to Blue GSM care and apologize to the customer for the morons mistake.

I cant wait for my last day!!

I know its wishful thinking to talk about it now, when I'll probably be here another 5 months, but I CANNOT WAIT for my last day.

I'm logging out of my phone and going shopping!! Not to mention telling customer what a bloodsucking evil corporation they're stuck in contract with. I could go on and on for HOURS, but gotta run, no ACW, remember!?

Anybody else use these fantasies to get through the work day at Convergys??

Poor women Cingular better pay up

I just called a number provided to me when i called SSG and instead of getting a Cingular dept i got some women at home and i could hear her baby in the backround crying, i got the number form a highly used line and i estimate that women has probably recieved about 500 calls from care reps a day due to the wrong number given i knew she had recieved alot of calls because when i responded all confused she asked me if i was trying to call Cingular and gave me the correct number to the dept. Cingular had better pay this women some money for grievances i would be sh&tting my pants with anger if i was her.

Does anyone know how to make ringtones?

I have found a way of making ringtones but they are wasting my phones memory by so much like 700-900kb per song so is there a way to make the memory usage less because I saw that the amount of second per tone is the same if I were to buy it from at&t and it isn't like the 700-900kb im using up but it is from 40-90kb which is alot less. I have been noticed that the bit rate is 160 kbps and the bit rate for the tones I bought from at&t are 32-64kbps so I was thinking if that was the reason why my memory usage was so high so if anyone knows how to make the bit rate less from a song on the computer to send to my phone please reply or if anyone knows how to make the songs memory less

Dress Code

Hi!
Anybody else have issues with tattletales telling on you for dress code??? I got in trouble the other day for wearing a skirt (seriously like 3 inches above the knee) because somebody told on me. Like in grade 3, i know! Anyways, i dont see why I should get in trouble and "get sent to Zellers" (that is RD Convergys code for "go home and change.") when guys are allowed to wear shorter skirts than me because it makes Convergys "diverse." (I have nothing againt crossdressers, but honestly, skirts shorter that MINE). My friend also got in trouble for wearing a shirt that "showed the tops of her breasts." I've yet to post about any calls i had but this one is just ridiculous!! Cust states that att wireless in in the middle of a lawsuit and every cust is untitled to a 3 or 4 dollar credit for msc for every month that she had service WTF???
