Question for AT&T and CC reps

I purchased my phone and service from AT&T over the phone. If I decide to cancel my service within the first 30 days, would I be able to return my phone to an AT&T direct dealer or would I have to return my phone by mail? If mail is my only choice, what is the kickback on getting my money refunded to my credit card? Thanks in advance for any help.

You have to return the phone to the original sales channel. In this case the E-Order warehouse which would mean by mail. Again to reitterate from previous posts on this subject it can be as long as 60 days after the phone is received back at AWS before you will receive your refund. If you want to try and play games with the system dont be suprised when it plays back. Is $25.00 really worth it?

Play games with the system? How is this playing games with the system when I decide not to keep my AT&T phone and services. To be honest the biggest mistake I made was even thinking about switching from T-Mobile to AT&T in my area. Thanks for your help though. I wish there was a faster way to get the money on my credit card back.

if you purchased the phone from an attws directly then call the sales support group cancelation dept (877 877 7544).

IF you purchased the phone over the phone from a third part vendor then you will need to call that company and have them cancel and send the phone back (though some of the third party vendor groups automatically send the phone out with a return mailer so all you would have to do is call customer care and have them cancel the service and then use the return mailer to send the phone and accessories back).

if you are unsure if you purchased the phone from attws directly or a third party vendor, you can always call customer care and have them find out for you.
