Yes,random beatings! Thats what some of these people need.I get this guy,okay,who wants to buy a Razor,okay,fine,i'm gonna hook ya up,buddy.So I'm doing this here migration,right,and I ask the guy,y'know,what rate plan he'd like,features,yadda yadda yadda,you know how it goes,when all of a sudden,outta nowhere,the cust exclaims(oh yeah,EXCLAIMS)"Why do I have to change my plan?I'm with att,I don't wanna be Cingular".Well,okay,fine and dandy buddy,this is how it goes,ya can't get the phone for the two year activation price without a 2 year commitment with Cingular.Cust proceeds to tell me that he wants this phone to place his SIM card from ATT in,and use on the ATT service.Uh uh,sorry bud,it just don't work that way,I give him the usual "diff...

It can be used in the orange phone, but he will not have full functionality of both networks (blue sim will only use blue towers as preference, not orange.)

That is not true... the orange phones are now locked, and, as a result, WILL NOT work with the ATT sims.

Yea sorry forgot to mention that, customer would have to get the phone unlocked first.

Since you were "most surely lying your ass off to him" and "he KNOWS that the phone will work on ATT cause he knows all there is to know about phones," then yes you should've "shut the hell up and order him his phone." Since he was such a phone whiz, I'm sure he would've gotten plenty of kicks and giggles trying to unlock the phone and get it to work with an outdated SIM.

There is (or was) a Blue version of the V3 but it was only available to business channels. The only reason I even know about it is because mid-america screwed up a shipment and sent about fifteen stores in my area the wrong version. We had to DOA the whole lot of them... thanks mid america.
