I dunno how many of you out there deal with both tdma and gsm customers, but I recently transitioned from tdma to gsm and thankfull I did cause the gsm customers are so much nicer and alot more patient with the merger and with every, dont get me wrong there are some people on gsm that are just as stupid but not nearly as much as tdma. am I the only one that notices this or am I going crazy?

Not to generalize, but many of the TDMA customers I deal with are not playing with a full deck. I've had more customers on TDMA not be able to take the backs/batteries off of their phones and not be able to find the power buttons than GAM customers. I dunno. GSM customers seem a little more phone/tech savvy.

That being said, I have more GSM customers escalating to me having purple fits than TDMA... far more than GSM's fair share. Almost 95% of purple fits come from the GSM side.

I just spent the last half hour getting yelled at by some "woman" about her account being charged because she returned liquid damaged equipment (V600 - $369.99) through warranty. Yeah, happy freaking birthday to me. *sigh* 😢

*HUGS* on your birthday.
I still think it utterly sucks that you have to work on your birthday, and to get that call to boot. whoever it was that screwed up the PTO should be ashamed for denying you a day off on your birthday.

One of them has a slow sloping forehead and the other has curly black hair and glasses. [hint hint] If the forhead doesn't give him away, he saw Deborah naked. Now excuse me while I forcibly evacuate the solid items from my stomach.

My own experience suggests that GSM customers tend to be moderately intelligent, and that TDMA customers tend to be downright stupid. I remember a long time ago when they were offering the training for changing from being a TDMA rep to being a GSM rep, I was happy to be one of the first in line for it. It may have been a much higher call volume, but it was worth it to cut away 80% of the stupid person calls I was getting. then one day, without warning, in the middle of my shift, they switched all the GSM reps over to being both TDMA and GSM simultaneously, and I was so annoyed.
