Verizon Everything Data Plan?
hmmm, its just a trial version for their premier customers. And it doesn't include the Any Mobile, Anytime feature that Sprint carries. And I'm sure you'd have to pay extra if you get a smartphone regardless.

It not so much that this particular offer is as good as Sprint's or better - I think it bigger idea here is that these carriers are starting to create comparable price plans and closing the cost gap, even if the new Verizon plan is still a little more than the Sprint one.
Who really knows though, considering we're all on the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to knowing what's going on in each companies decision making process.

Smartphones included. Correction, smartphones encouraged. It's what the plan is designed for. Plus, it's not for "premier customers." Verizon did away with their version of that program some times ago. These are targeted customers, which my own research seems to indicate customers likely to churn in the next six months, for various reasons.

I think they are holding on to these high rates as long as they can. Eventually unlimited voice will drop to around forty bucks.

The popularity of all you can eat prepaid plans will increase. When devices are comparable on prepaid the establishment will have to respond.
