I'm upgrading my phone tomorrow and am SOOO confused, so I ask you, which is better? The Katana LX M520, or the Muziq?

I text, take pics for myspace, and check my email on my phone. What would be the best for the buck?

What phone do you have now?

If you're serious about email on a phone, I would have to recommend a PDA or smart phone. I've used the Email application you can download and it's no comparison to email on a Palm, Windows mobile, or Blackberry phone.

Other than that, it would come down to what phone you favored the way it looks and feels since the rest are all pretty much the same in terms of features.

I got the Muziq and the key are big so you can text, I also use Email very ez to use. Only thing I do not like is the camera has no flash. Speaker is little week for streaming music so I use the jack to plug in to my stereo and it sounds GREAT.
FM trans mitter is nice need to be right on the stereo (4ft).

I LIKE IT 😁 🙂 🤤 😈

i'd put the lx aside because the 520 and muzq have better resolutions, the only thing really to consider past that is would the phone be used for games and music at all?

if yes then go with the muziq, otherwise the 520

Its too soon to tell on the LX, as it is a model just hitting the market. However Sanyo has rarely floundered on Katana models. The Musiq is geared more towards multimedia than anything else. The Samsung m520 is built with music functions in mind. I would consider an LG Rumor as it has the text keyboard, a nice camera, and as good of an e-mail option as any of the phones you listed. The Palm Centro is a nice option, as the e-mailing function is easier as it is a PDA. However, in purchasing a Centro will be forced to add a $25 data plan. If you are on the Simply Everything plan this does not apply. Good luck, and happy phone hunting. And remember, qualified upgrades get a month to decide if they like their new phone, keep it unscratched.

I've owned the M520 and Muziq and personally liked the overall function of the Muziq better. The M520 sliding factor was nice, but it would freeze when accessing the Internet or music. The Muziq from my memory Does has flash. Both the M520 and Muziq have e-mail client on them and is pretty easy to use. The only thing is about once every other week you're going to have to remove and put your e-mail back on. (it stops automatically sending/recieving e-mail. Plus the Muziq's MP3 experience is the best I've ever seen on a phone, I even sold my iPod because of it. And yest the keyboard is nice, the only problem I had with it was pressing back when trying to press the down button occasionally.

Don't consider the LX, it has a VGA camera and 1xRT...
