Do the coverage maps on Sprint.com show RevA coverage? The map for my area, zip-code 37312, only shows broadband and 1Xrtt.

Thanks in advance for any help! 🙂

But many areas are still just Rev0, and the QChat phones won't work in those areas. Can't tell from the maps if I'm in a RevA area or not, or how much beyond is also covered.

gotcha! yeah that i do not know but rev o and rev a are both considered broadband whereas rttx1 is "dialup"

rev A just has a better upload speed but both have similar dl speeds.

Yeah, but the reason I wanted to know is because the QChat phones are only supposed to be RevA compatible, and if you're in a Rev0 area, there's no service on the DC. Important consideration before I plunk down the cash to buy one of those Pro Series Sanyo's.

As opposed to checking it on Powersource devices? I can't find the info stating that the orange areas are anything more than just broadband.

well the reason why i think its rev a is because the stats for the orange coverage are 600-1.4 Mbps downloads and 350-500kbps uploads which are rev A specs. rev 0 is 50-70kbs uploads

i think he is right, this is what it says on the sprint site...
Sprint Mobile Broadband Network* (avg 600 kbps - 1.4 mbps download, 350 kbps - 500 kbps upload)

it also has this below it for rev0...
* ViewView additional Sprint Mobile Broadband Network coverage (avg. 400 Kbps - 700 Kbps download, 40 Kbps - 70 Kbps upload).
Sprint Mobile Broadband coverage available on these devicesdevices.

by clicking on the second one i saw areas that i knew we had evdo coverage but were not revA
