How does Sprint stay in business?

Ok, first of all I have had Sprint service for about 5 month's, I have not had any issues at all I have the smallest voice plan with $10 unlimited text. I have the LG music
Until I decided to call in and have my plan changed to the $99 simply everything plan, what a Freakin nightmare!! first rep says it's changed it will work in 2 hrs, I wait 4 hrs, no internet, I call back 2nd rep say's it takes 24 hrs, I'm like ok, I wait until the next day, and you guessed it no internet or tv or anything, just error messages,
To sum it up after 10 calls, to customer service and tech support and being hung up on 3 times while being transfered, I gave up called back and said change me back to what I originally had, I don't have all day to be on the...

....I work in the wireless industry as well, and this post didn't surprise me at all. I doubt it's BS. Sounds right to me. Calling customer care can be a nightmare sometimes. They're really disorganized and don't have "records" that pop up for each CS rep.

I believe!

So..... you created a phonescoop account to rant about Sprint yet you work in wireless....... I don't believe you either.

It doesn't matter to me what is beleived like I stated in my opening statement I never had a problem with Sprint UNTIL I tried to change my plan, it's not like I'm a Sprint basher, it's just that if they can't fix something this simple it's no surprise that they have such a high churn rate, and I'd be happy to mail you guy's my bill, why would I waste the time to create a account and make up something ridiculous? I have other things to do, just calling it like I see it,

Don't even bother complaining about Sprint here. This forum is not "open discussion" friendly as it should be but more for Sprint fanboys.

Sprint has the worst reputation in the wireless industry for customer service, yet if you post of having a problem with their CS, there is always at least a couple of fanboys here to pounce on you. I AM GOD is one of them. What a username, eh? Sprint is bleeding money and customers at an alarming rate. They are throwing at account to anyone breathing and giving away the farm to try and hang on to what they have left. They have, of late, only a few decent handsets. There number one biggest complaint has ALWAYS been crap customer service so I don't think calling BS on anyone who has an issue with CS has ...

Facts are facts buddy. You and "GOD" always seem to be there to poke anyone in the eye who has anything negative to say about Sprint.

I say again, I have nothing against Sprint or any other carrier. I just think that you are a bunch of little pr**ks for calling someone a liar who claims to have a problem with Sprints CS. It's not your company. You are just a customer, or ARE you??? (Sprint employees maybe?) Who else would give a crap if someone complains about Sprint or any other company that they don't own for work for.

Show me where i do that? I have admitted in a tread talking with you that Sprint CS sucks!! show me where I'm doing that. I'm a customer who left Verizon for Sprint for my needs nothing more nothing less...don't lump me in to your category of being a loser because i enjoy sprint service...when we talked you were happy that the conversation was civil now you're over here calling ppl losers.

I was not directing my comments at you so much as "GOD" since he's the one who called the OP a liar. You are the one who pulled yourself into the conversation and decided to sling a little mud my way.

My statement was that anyone who trolls the forum looking for people to call liars because they have a complaint against Sprint is a looser. If you don't do that, then I guess you aren't included. There was nothing civil in this thread by calling BS on someone trying to share their experience.

I never used your name personally in any of my previous statements until you took your shot at me. If you took offense to the "looser" statement then you must consider yourself among those of which I was referring to.

Forum are less fun and ev...

My original statement was not directed at BROWN. He choose to jump in. Either way. Sprint is the flea market of carriers. You can call me all the names you like but it won't change the fact that it's low rent.

I added the Internet to my phone... thought it would be simple... the darn thing never worked. I was the phone with there tech support for 5 hours in 2 days and it didn't want to work. It isn't my phone because I worked when it was pay per use... just not with the unlimited. After 2 days I told them to take it off cause it didn't work and they did. A few days later I got the bill and had like $60 worth of charges. Sprint did take off all the charges... I only had to call 4 times. I am not bashing Sprint because I have had them for 4 years and I do work in wireless with a different company. Sprint has bad customer service.... but so do other companies when it comes to certain things.

Sounds like you did a plan change right before your monthly bill cycle rolled over. If that happens, the bill will show your new plan. Don't worry, though. If you changed it back then your account balance will update (maybe not immediately but by the next cycle) to only charge you for the higher plan for the day(s) you were actually on it.

For the data services, it sounds like the web never provisioned properly. It's usually something quick to fix, but sometimes can be a headache (even for employees...). If you reach the end of your rope with tech support, go to a corporate repair store and leave the phone with them while they try to get it working for you. They'll have to do much the same as you- call tech support- but then you will...

If actually adding value was a requisite for posting in these forums, I think that it would have maybe half a dozen posts. If you don't like what I have the say then ignore it, or comment on it. Telling me to shut up and keep my opinions to myself? Who do you think you are? Republicans?

Bottom line, I think it's pathetic that Sprint, who is loosing it's butt in dollars and customers, it's lobbing crap at two carriers who are actually profitable and have a VERY low churn rate. If they were half the company that AT&T and Verizon were, I can promise you that they wouldn't be "giving away the farm" on pricing.

Maybe Sprint needs to realize that the majority of wireless subscribers are looking for cut rate prices. They are looking for gre...

Even though I am a Sprint employee and was a very satisfied BEFORE i started working here, i have to agree that things are not good right now.

We do have industry leading churn, have lost market share and our name doesn't stand for much now.

I do think that Sprint will turn things around and come back stronger than ever. I have confidence in the new CEO and that he will help get Sprint back to where they should be, and move even further ahead. We will be true competitors with Verizon and AT&T.

I don't think tmobile will be able to overtake Sprint. I think they are still like 25 million customers smaller that Sprint (but i haven't checked into that for a while).

Once the word gets out that Sprint is a good company and t...

I hope so. Competition is good for all.

As for me, I had the worst customer service experience ever with them and don't know how they would ever get me or anyone that I know who's left them back.

My wife and I had a couple of lines with them a couple of years go. We are both well educated business professionals with very good jobs and very good credit. We both carried expensive handsets with expensive data plans and paid our bills way in advance. Then one day, we had no service. I called and they said that they had shut off our lines for exceeding our monthly spending limit. It turned out to be their mistake, but no one as much as apologized. The worst was when, after being transfered around to one rep after another that didn't give ...

Ok, so a guy with Tmobile in thier name is saying to stop trolling in the Sprint forums...ok.

I actually like tmobile, except for the attitude thier store reps give. Thier phone CS is phenominal, but thier store service is serverly lacking, at least in my experience. Only found a couple reps worth talking to when i had tmobile.

I believe his story. Mistakes happen. He got screwed with for a couple days. That'll piss anyone off.

I feel you. I have helped people that have had problems with Sprint's customer service. It can be a pain when you keep getting bad people on the phone who don't want to listen.

While no one i know has had a problem with Sprint, i know that they didn't get the bad CS reputation for no reason. It took a long time for CS to hit rock bottom and will take a long time to get it back. There are people trying, but that needs to happen faster.

I had VZ and i will never go back to them. I had a phone that kept going bad. Wouldn't get service, roaming all the time, etc...When i would go to the store to report the problem, they would treat me like a moron. Cust service kept telling me it was either my error or that there was a problem w...

its always the same thing always a new plan appears cs doesnt know posting times or plan details. They only know theory and it sucks. You need to see a plan working for a while to rally know what to expect.

Do you want an advise? When you realize about a new plan wait a couple of months after changing to it.
