BB BATT
I just got the black berry pearl, and the batt is not working, im over the 30 days but i do have the 7.00 insurance and repair. can i go to a store and will they swap the batt in the store....?? 🤨

Before you do that, open up the back, remove the battery, blow on the contacts for the battery and phone and place it back in. My wife had this problem with her 8830 and that fixed it. It must have had some lint in there or something.

yea i did that, but the strange part is that the texture of the batt is different from all the other 8130 batts?????? 😳 🤨

Hrmm ... it depends on the store you would go to and what their practices are as i know here in most cases if we have a spare battery from a return we would just swap it out free of charge.

Yes ive worked for Corporate for almost 5 years now (well i guess this also includes the severance i received last year with the layoffs of '07 ... they closed my store so i kind of went with it 😕 :an epic 7 month vacation may i add🙂 ... but they offered me another job and i was happy to take it so if that says anything for you. Im prolly one of the only Nextel legacy reps still around in this area, lol 😈

well im sorry for what happened, im in a area where there is only 1 Corp. location and..... and im kind of tired of working retentions (even though it pays very well) but its the same thing day in and day out..... i use to work in store locations and loved it. I guess i might shoot for manager position in the Corp. location in a few weeks.....but we will see......

this is where ppl misunderstand the ins. it covers the phone only, not the battery, or the battery cover, and not even the wall charger. all these are considered accessories, BUT you can go into certain stores like mine who, although is not S&R, can give you one taken from an exchange or return for free.

yea i use to work for At&t Verizon and now Sprint. i use to do this for some customers but, from the calls i get it, customers do it, i always forget to ask if it was a dealer (not likey) or a Corp. store.... but thanks for you info, and may i ask where you work? dealer or Corp.?
