Treo 800w or 800wx - camera?
Is there still a plan to release a non-camera version of these phones? If so, any idea of when we will see it?

Is the idea just for buisness people who aren't allowed to have camera phones at work for security reasons or is there some other motivator that I'm missing?

Well my employer allows cameras at there locations. However, I spend most of my time on a military base which does not allow cameras at all.
Why should I buy a phone that I can't have with me at least 8 hours of the day?

The fact that someone from Apple is now spearheading the Palm line im sure you will see something soon BUT word is that if anything, the next windows Palm would have the updated 6.1 that is still in testing and would most likely be the 755w. As far as your camera issue i highly doubt they will make a non camera version but you never know. Ever think of the BB 8830 ... those were designed for people like yourself in mind.
