I work for Sprint, and am not at all impressed with the Motorola phones. The original Razr had numerous inherent defects, which is part of the reason Motorola released the Razr2. Not enough data yet as to if this is a better quality product. The Krzr is just as bad! The Q is a decent device, but does not support features such as picture/video mail, or any of the multi-media PowerVision applications. I would recommend the new Katana DLX if you are looking for a thin clamshell phone with all the bells and whistles. Sanyo makes a very good product.

I'm testing my sprint for a few days...the lady talked me into the m610 by samsung...really don't like it much.... I tried the DLX I wasn't impressed unfortunatly....
If the coverage isn't what I need/want I will probably end up switching to t-mobile.

I hate to break the news to you, but if you feel Sprint CDMA network isn't up to par, you will be crucified by T Mobile's GSM one. I do realize we are talking about two different types of wireless networks, but I can assure you if you look at each one's native network coverage which means the coverage provided by the wireless carrier without roaming coverage, you will find euroboy002 that Sprint's footprint is significantly larger than T Mobiles. Ask T Mobile if they offer any of their plans for nights and weekends to start at 7 pm for free or if they offer broad band like speeds on their handsets for internet usage without having to be in a WiFi spot. What would impress you in a handset seeing the Sanyo Katana DLX didn't float your boat? BT...

Every sprint employee i've talked to at the stores have told me that Samsungs are more for toys than an actual phone.
I personally narrowed my choice down to 2 phones and will be starting with the one i'm more skeptical about. If it's great then I will keep it.. If not then I go to the one I was more leaning toward...
You could cancel before your trial period is up and wait a bit and sign up again...
I'd avoid Motorola and Samsung in the future.
I think the best Motorola was the StarTac from years ago... That was great back in the day...

I didn't get the DLX, i play with it for about 15 minutes, and just did not like it much. It just felt cheap to me.
I have to wait for the girl to Order me the Razr2 to try before i exchange the 610 for it...
I really want the pearl when it comes out for sprint, so...I might just take it back, and get a free phone, and wait for the pearl...
Not to sure what my decision is going to be yet.
The main reason I want t-mo is because I can buy alot of different unlocked phones online, and im aware of internet/mms issues...but that would be one feture i would like...
Im kind of concerned about the 610, because the female rep told me that it was a BRAND NEW phone...
Ill have to mention that when I go back in there...

The Samsung M610 has been in Sprint's portfolio as of November of 2006, and has reached the end of life manufacture.
I have the Samsung M610, and I think it's a great phone.
I'm more of a Sanyo person. For me to switch from Sanyo to Samsung, is huge.
I've never had any issues with the phone at all.
What are you looking for in a phone? What do you want to do iwth your phone?
