Verizon Adjusts Privacy Policy, Now Collecting Customer Data

Verizon wireless isn't collecting more information than they used to. They always had it What's different now is how they intend to use it. What's important for customers to realize is that none of the information in the reports is "personally identifiable".
It's similar to how the news outlets report voter results. They have data that so many people said they voted for candidate X, but the data does not show the names of individual voters.

What? It clearly said that they will collect data such a gender, tennis enthusiast and etc. That sounds real personal to me. So from your theory they can learn "everything" about me other than my name and I am to be consider unidentifiable? Don't get me wrong, I'm not too concerned about this due to the fact that if I were a Verizon customer I would just opt out, but lets not act like they are only collecting a "few" things about you, when they are collecting enough to know exactly who you are.
