FINALLY! A real contender that will actually be supported and advertised, not like the Dell Streak, which COULD have been a contender if they had only tried.

Now, to find out when and on which carrier. I can't wait. Lord, I hope it isn't AT&TT

The note feature is almost as important as the nice size. I will actually be able to READ the screen for a change. WooHo!

This is a game changer! I was looking forward to the Galaxy Tape for a device I could read documents with on the go because everything 10 plus inches was just too big and cumbersome for road warriors that just need something a little bigger than a 4 inch display. And with the stylus it should be sweeeeeet!

Look at the bands it supports. 1900 and not 1700 generally means AT&T. Of course, that could change. Or it could be for everyone like the Galaxy S. Or maybe it's the reason Verizon passed on the Galaxy S II.

Verizon passed on galaxy s2 because the LTE version for the USA was not ready. I hope verizon carry this device since the is an LTE version. Though Samsung did not say which LTE version it plans for this device I just hope the USA version of LTE.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure why Verizon passed on the Galaxy S II

Because they are getting the Nexus Prime in October which is basically an SGS2 with a pure google experience, plus they have the charge. Too many phones that occupy the same market

That might be right, but it's speculation, Verizon never gave a reason for the decision....

Unless you're a Verizon insider (and you might be, I know such people are here) this is just speculation.

No insider, just common sense.

why would verizon want the charge, SGS2, and the Nexus Prime. They all occupy the same target market.

And verizon cant release a statement saying "we passed because we are getting something better in a month" haha

The Droid Charge is the reason Vzn passed on the GSII. Really the only difference between the Droid Charge and the GSII is the dual-core pricessors. Other than that their quite similar.

i doubt a 4g fascinate is the reason Verizon passed on the GSII. It would make more sense to pass on the GSII to get the next samsung Nexus device.

gury, it matches AT&T's network, I'm sure they will get it, they're pretty supportive of Samsung.
