Can you make your own ringtones for the SK3?

I hate the t-mobile ones..

They have songs i heard in 1997 with new tags next to them, Lol..

But yeh, I really do hope where allowed to make our own this time!!

I don't know why people keep insisting that you can't make your own ringtones for this phone.

YOU CAN.

I made all of my own ringtones for my Hiptop2. I can't imagine that the next model would be any different in this regard. You're limited to 10, and it's best to keep the files under 100K to avoid having the Hiptop/Sidekick do its own compression, but all you have to do is email yourself a wav file. When the email is opened on the Hiptop/SK, you are given the option to save it as a custom ringtone.

i made myself a ringtone and sent it to my email but i cant find the option to save it as a ringtone. what do i push to find the option?

I sent myself the ringer [on my Sidekick 2], and it plays on my phone..but PLEASE tell me where the option to save as a custom tone is!! 😕

there is something in the user manual that says you can, but it's hard to figure it out. the manual says something about connecting a headset then going to a ringtone selector pressing the left shoulder button then recording, i've been trying it but nothing happens.
