What is T-Mobile thinking? They can't just make stuff up and call it the truth. Lets face it, this is upgraded 3rd generation technology, not 4th generation. Therefore not 4G. Customers are stupid though, and they may gain some subscribers due to this marketing ploy.

True there are way faster hspa+ networks overseas! Im talking 42mbs but are they advertising it as 4g? No! Because they understand the technology much better then teen-mobile-usa. Hspa+ is 3g tech Wimax is 4g tech and the next release will blow everything out of the park! Imo Sprint is still the only carrier with 4g ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I think I'm going to enjoy watching you squirm next month when you have to admit that Verizon has a "4G" network (by your standards).

I actually wouldn't mind admitting Verizon has 4g using Lte. Wimax and Lte are competing 4g technology and have max speeds that both clear the ITU standard of 100mbs tmobile hspa+ does not. Wimax is also the current leader in max speed acheiveable which is were most of the hype behind LTE stood because it had a higher theoritical speed but this is not the case anymore wimax is now the fastest standard! Sprint is the NowNetwork everthing else is IRRELEVANT ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I'll tell you what's IRRELEVANT......Sprint's profit margin, it's standing in the industry and it's business plan. I'll love it when one of the big boys finally buys them out and fires all of the kool-aid drinkers like you!

If that was gonna happen it would have happenend a long time ago! You sound like an employee to me ๐Ÿคจ Why would you wanna pay a carrier more then what Sprint charges when they are ripping you off and cannot compete with Sprint? Thats like saying Even though HP makes the best computers because they charge less and I dont like them Im gonna go by a Mac cuz I wanna pay more for less and I hope Apple buys Hp out so I can laugh at all the koolaid drinkers and that term only applies to Verizon fanboys thats why they call em BigRed. Verizon is overpriced for a reason ๐Ÿคฃ

well considering the fact that Verizon dominates Sprint in what matters most...CUSTOMERS I would say that there are alot of people who would disagree that Sprint does it "so much better". Sprint isn't even a competitor to me. Everybody knows that they will soon go away leaving people like you sitting in a closet crying for mommy. Once again, if your product is better than you can expect to charge more for it. Caviar sells for alot more than Bologna because people know steak is better! I don't blame you though because Sprint is probably all you can afford and you worship Sprint while you eat your Bologna sandwich. HAHAHAHAHAHA ๐Ÿคญ

Clearwire did. It worked wonders for them.

NO THEY DIDNT! Clearwire was calling it 4g long before the ITU decided to magically pull a number out of thin air. No cellphone is capable of taking advantage of 100mbps. Why would they choose a number that will max out a phone 5 times over for mobile use? Sprint entire network can be upgraded to meet the ITU bs requirement of 100mbs and surpase it with Wimax 2 pulling down 330mbs. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Can tmobiles hspa+? ๐Ÿคจ
