Three words, "It's About Time". I've been struggling with a crippled 3G phone since upgrading. Calls to support, like the phone itself, were useless. Here's hoping the next software update will give me back the phone I so much enjoyed! 🤠🙄

4.0 runs like a turd on the 3G. Just Google "downgrade iphone 3G to 3.1.3". It might take 4 hours of your life but I downgraded my brother iphone 3G a few weeks ago because the thing was so incredibly laggy it was ridicules that Apple even released a 4.0 version for the phone. I think they did it to make people with the 3G have to upgrade to a 3GS or 4.

Ok, I might be considered a "fanboy" but I was underwhelmed with the presentation yesterday.
Retina Display, FaceTime and 720P video on the iPod Touch is nice, but most of that was expected long ago.
Nothing in 4.1 looks compelling enough to me to switch from my jailbroken iPhone 4. And I will only upgrade to 4.2 on my iPad to get the multitasking (and that's not happening until November-- WTF???).
The big miss was the Apple TV. Seriously. No 1080P video? Streaming only from four sources (Apple, Netflix, YouTube, iTunes)? If they open the platform to iOS apps like Hulu Plus then it may be a win, but I can get better from Roku for the same price point.
No Kool-Aide for me, I'm sticking with the Guinness Stout and hoping that IFA h...
