I highly doubt there will be a flood of useless crappy apps, because you have to pay like $20 to put it in the Marketplace.

I don't see why not. Palm's entire Ares SDK is basically the same thing (only, well... better.)

I looked over it, I didn't see anything for a quick upload to the market. It might be possible, but at least they seemed to have made it more than just a "click" away.
