I wonder what the issues were.....mine seemed to update and now run just fine?!

I did the update for my two demo phones in my store and it worked fine. Phonearena was saying the update made a few phones turn to bricks and the only thing they could do is exchange them. I wonder if that is true or would a hard reset do the trick.

That's exactly what it did.The devices would not even allow the effected devices to power on.

yeah, there's a problem with the phone just locking up on a power cycle. no good for sprint or htc...

From what I've read on engadget it bricks if you apply the update twice. Of course I'm guessing it could happen if you update just once, but from my understanding it's from updating more than once.
