I'm a little confused. It is clearly the Sanyo SCP-2700, same colors, same features. Why did they feel the need to change the name?

Possibly just for marketing purposes. There has been many times, where the same phone has came out for multiple carriers and each carrier places a different "title" on it. Just to help market, and help it seem a little cooler than it actually may be. Plus i don't see too many customers who actually know model numbers, easier to remember when it has a nickname.

True. But Boost really isn't a different carrier- just a different arm of Sprint. If it was going to be an AT&T Go Phone I would have understood, but this way it kind of surprised me.

Yeah it is a little odd...even on BoostMobile.com when you click on the phone its called the Juno but the icon click on to get there says 2700.
