this phone has been available from ALL "indirect channels since feb. 25th, not just best buy. If you go into a verizon wireless authorized retailer they can do everything the corporate stores can and your also supporting your local community. ive sold many devours and they are great phones. just wanted to clarify its not just best buy and the other big box stores that had it available. not only did we have it available we were and still are selling it for $50 cheaper than best buy

Can you guys honor Ne2's like corporate stores can? Putting money in the local community huh.... Interesting spin on that. Are the owners part of the Rotary Club? What does your specific store do for the community?

might not be the store specifically but maybe the employees live in the community and then they would shop at stores in the local community etc. i know that's the case for me and the store i work at.

When I worked for it, we were part of the lions club, did free advertising for local businesses and donated items to charity raffles. as part of our grand opening we donated $500 to a local charity, and this summer they were planning (if they still impliment my idea) to offer certain devices where a portion of the proceeds go to a specific charity.

On top of that, the people working in the store all live in the community, we spent a couple hundred every week on food, supplies, etc for the store.

On top of that, the store was there to answer any and all phone related questions, where you didn't have to sign in at some kiosk before someone would see you. I personally spent 2 hours with a guy setting up his email on his new device, a de...

Perfect way of putting it.
Too few people appreciate their own local economy. While I'm all for saving money, I'll gladly pay a few more bucks to know I'm getting genuine service and helping out my local economy.
I used to work for an indirect retailer and while I'm now with Best Buy Mobile, the local aspect is what I partially sell my location on (out particular Best Buy is in Minnesota, and Best Buy is a Mininesota-based corporation).

I also work in the "indirect" channel, after pulling a couple of years with corporate. Indirect can do pretty much everything that corporate can (including honor ne2s), plus they actually CARE about the customers instead of just another sale to try to get to quota. My company is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the local Retail Committee, the Diplomats (good will ambassodors to the area), as well as we donate to local charities and schools. All I can say is I'm much happier now that I work for Indirect and am actually encouraged to give a hoot about the community, unlike the corporate drones. And yes, we've had the Devour since Feb 25 😁

Good for you, i am tired of this BS biased phonescoop only reporting items from big box or tier I carriers, i am glad to support the independent dealers and regional carriers...who cares that BB had it first, i dont see anyone going into BB to get a cell phone anyways.
