Me too. I don't use any other Apple products except for the iPhone. So I'm not an Apple "fanboy". The only reason why I can't let go of my iPhone is because of the amount of apps available at my fingertips. Especially if you jailbreak it. The possibilities are endless. But I'm getting tired of the iPhone though. I'm no longer under contract with AT&T so I can leave at any time.
I seen the Motorola Droid and Nexus One and I was impressed with Android 2.0. I just wish they would support the phones in a manner that Apple does. If you have lets say, a 1st generation iPhone, you might not get all the benefit...

I haven't seen any headlines at all on PS of Tmo indicating any timeline of when they intend to update any of their Android handsets. Heck, the G1 never even got a 1.5 or 1.6 updatd.
But personally I'm fine with where Android is with 2.1, and I saw the Droid on Amazon for !!ONLY!! $25, way, way too good of a deal to pass up, and it doesn't seem as though it's going to be too much longer til Vzn updates the Droid to 2.1

I don't know that I'd take a Droid for free. You're paying a lot per month for a data plan on a weak sauce smartphone. Unless you go through the Menno route and hack it, in which case you'd better hope the device to which you commit $2,000.00 to Verizon Wireless doesn't brick.
