This is a terrible application! I have taken more than a few calls on "parents" wanting to subscribe to Chaperone without their "child" knowing they have done so. I think this would be a deal killer for me. You want to do what?! Here! Take your phone I'll get my own!

Really... if it's my kid... and they are not an adult (1😎, they are not going to "tell me" what is going to happen. I would say... "No you are NOT getting your own phone. You are getting the phone I provide you with... and it WILL have location services if I choose to use them. As long as you are my responsibility you will do it as I say... no ifs ands or buts." And if the kid wants to be defiant with my, they will get their ass whooped... plain and simple. That's why kids get out of control... parents are afraid to whoop their kids.

It's never a kid. Although I did have one lady buy chaperone for her twenty year old in college. He was actually in the store with her. It was so sad.

How do you know he doesn't have a reason to be monitored? Like a condition that without medication would make him erratic, and hard to locate?

You don't know people's reasons.
Assumptions are bad, mmkay?

She told me. Anytime she called him and he did not answer she wanted to be able to locate him. I was a sales person. Of course, she told me half her life story before buying the two Krzrs from me. No need to assume when customers give you every detail. That poor kid. He was too embarrassed to even look me in the eye. I just wanted to scream, "Run kid! Go get laid now! I'll hold her off!"

The very moment your kids graduate from high schook they should get a full time job and move out so that they can be free human beings.
