Doesn't Crickett Wireless offer unlimited voice, messaging and data for about $45 a month?
...
They have $40 for their wireless USB dongle, which doesn't include voice.
The $50 voice plan includes "mobile web", whatever that means.
Their coverage also sucks more than anyone else.

Does Cricket (what a stuPid name for a wireless company) have they're own network? Or are they an MVNO?

from what I can tell, if you avoided the stores and never talked to the customer care reps and you were willing/able to keep using the att branded (before combined with cingular) then u could keep you old plan.

yes ecycled is correct. As long as you keep blue branded phones and "upgrade" (such a bad description for swapping equipment) to blue branded phones; via Ebay and other used phone sites, then you can keep the same plans that you have had since 2001. I have had several customers with family talk 600 minutes for 39.99 and 9.99 secondary lines. But no mobile to mobile, no rollover and a 1000 night and weekend shared. But this plan had something called first minute free, where every incoming call the first minute was free, sounds dumb, but it adds up to several hundred free minutes a month. The only customers AT&T forced to change were those that still had tdma and gait phones.
